Course Policies: Group Class:Attend classes according to the purchased course schedule. Class Instructors:We will assign instructors based on the group class schedule. Please note that we cannot guarantee the same instructor for every class. Course progression will follow the syllabus. Is it too difficult for me if I don't know Chinese? 80% of our courses are conducted in Chinese, facilitating immersion in a Chinese-speaking environment. Through numerous classes, we have found this to be the most effective method. One-on-one tutoring can tailor the Chinese content to your needs. However, we still recommend the 80% Chinese and 20% other language balance for optimal learning. Can I join midway? You can join a class midway, with fees prorated accordingly. Can I take time off or if i miss the class? Yes, we offer makeup videos. However, you must watch the makeup content within one week. Failure to do so will result in an additional handling fee of $5 USD. Tutoring Class Option A - Student Time Priority:Students provide available time slots, and we assign teachers accordingly. Consistency of instructors is not guaranteed. Option B - Student Designated Teacher:Students can choose a preferred teacher, and class times must be coordinated with the teacher. Course Purchase Plans: Group Class: Courses are paid in full upfront. If two or more people enroll together, each person receives a 5% discount. Tutoring Class: Classes can be purchased in packages of 4, 8, 16, or 20 sessions. Notice:If classes are suspended after course purchase, students must coordinate with the teacher's schedule for resuming classes. Original time slots are subject to availability. Failure to attend classes for 4 consecutive months will result in cancellation of remaining classes without refund. Course Purchase Discounts: Group class: Discounts are available for two or more people who sign up for the course, and the referrer can get an extra one-hour course. Tutoring Class:A 5% discount or 2 complimentary hours are offered for the purchase of 20 hours of tutoring class. Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy: Group Class: Only makeup videos are provided, and they must be completed within one week. Late makeup classes incur a $5 USD handling fee. Tutoring Class: Notice of leave must be given 12 hours in advance. Emergency rescheduling is available once every 4 classes. Cancellation within 12 hours for the second time results in full charge and no rescheduling.
